SHOW POLICIES:
-Umbrella Strollers ONLY!  Due to the crowds at the Mega Meet, we restrict to only umbrella strollers on the show floor.  Umbrella Strollers MUST contain a child - they cannot be used as shopping carts.
- NO ROLLING TOTES!  For the safety and security of our guests, no rolling totes will be allowed on the Sales Floor or in Classrooms.  Rolling Totes will only be permitted in the Informal Crop Area, and at the Crop Parties.  A bag check area will be available and staffed all show hours. 
-Children under 6 admitted free of charge, and must be accompanied by an adult. Children 6 and over must purchase an admission ticket.
-If you choose to bring your children, you must hold your child’s hand throughout the convention hall, as many scrapbooking tools are not child-safe!
-Please note that Make-It and Take-Its at the booths are for adults only!
-Pre-registration entitles you to 9am early-bird entry to the show. Participants who purchase their tickets on-site will be admitted at 10am.
-Handstamp is required for re-entry

CLASS POLICIES:
-Students will not be admitted to classrooms more than 15 minutes late to class. Please make careful note of your schedule, and be ON TIME to your classes.  
- Class Kits will NOT BE AVAILABLE to students who do not see the classroom assistant or the classroom managers during the ticketed class period.

-Out of courtesy to all class participants, cell phones must be turned off in classrooms.
-Video and/or Audio taping is not permitted in classes.
-Class ticket does not include admission to exhibit hall.
-Infants and Children under 10 are not permitted in the classes.
-All Children 10 and over must have their own ticket to enter the classroom.
-No refunds will be issued based on perceived quality of the class or event.

SCHEDULE CHANGES:
-A $3.00 service fee will be charged for all requests to change your schedule.
-Requests for schedule changes must be made in writing to support@megameet.com. Please include your full name, email address, and details about what you wish to change on your schedule.
-Requests for schedule changes must be made before the on-line registration closing date. NO SCHEDULE CHANGES can be made following that date.
-If your schedule change requires additional payment; we will contact you for the additional payment.
-If your schedule change results in a refund, we will refund to the credit card we have on file, or issue a refund voucher if you paid by another method.

CANCELLATIONS:
-A $5.00 service fee will be charged for all requests to cancel your schedule.
-Requests to cancel your schedule must be made in writing to support@megameet.com. Please include your full name, email address, and a request to cancel your entire schedule.
- Cancellation requests MUST be made before the on-line registration closing date. We CANNOT process cancellations or issue refund following the on-line registration closing date.
-If you find that you cannot attend following the cancellation deadline, you may send someone to the show in your place; simply write a note on your confirmation that you authorize another person to claim your registration packet.

REFUNDS:
-If you have registered by mail, and we were unable to place you into some of the events you paid for, a refund voucher for those events will be in your registration packet. Please see the Information Booth during the show to redeem. Refunds not claimed at the Convention will be forfeited.
-No refunds due to the weather or natural disaster, or other acts of God, unless entire event is cancelled. No refunds will be issued based on perceived quality of the class or event.

2008 PRE-REGISTRATION CLOSES ON APRIL 25, 2008. NO SCHEDULE CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS OR REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOLLOWING THIS DATE!

Registration Confirmation: Online registrants will receive instant confirmation after processing their registration.  Mailed in registration forms received before the postmark deadline will be emailed confirmation if an email address is provided.  If no email address is provided, confirmation will be mailed.  Please be sure to provide us with accurate e-mail and mailing addresses. You will pick up your registration materials when you arrive at the Convention Center – THESE ITEMS WILL NOT BE MAILED TO YOU IN ADVANCE OF THE CONVENTION!  With proper written authorization from the person named on the tickets, you may pick up another person's registration packet in the event that they are unable to attend.

Informal Cropping Area:
During the day, tables and chairs are available for informal cropping in a designated area of the exhibit hall. Use of this area is included in your daily admission fee. We ask that you observe the following courtesies:

Scrapbooks Mega Meet, LLC respects your privacy. We do not sell, rent, loan or transfer any personal information regarding our customers to any unrelated third parties, with the exception of basic mailing information which is made available to duly registered exhibitors and sponsors at our event if requested. Any information you give us about yourself is held with the utmost care and security and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.

Information collected on our Web site is collected and used by Scrapbooks Mega Meet, L.L.C. and its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Great Lakes Mega Meet", "Ohio Mega Meet") and, in limited cases, SMM service providers who are subject to confidentiality agreements. Basic mailing information is made available to duly registered exhibitors at our event if requested.  Scrapbooks Mega Meet, LLC will not collect any personal information about customers except when specifically and knowingly provided by them.  

Use of Information

Information collected by Scrapbooks Mega Meet, LLC is used by us for two main purposes. First, we collect information to figure out how to improve our site by seeing which areas, features and products are most popular. Second,  we collect information to enable customers  to conduct transactions on our Web site.  If we want to collect information for other purposes, we will inform you when we collect the information.

From time to time, we may use a limited number of service providers to assist us with customer service, such as answering telephone calls and e-mails. These service providers only use customer information to assist our customers. They must keep all customer information strictly confidential and return it to Scrapbooks Mega Meet, LLC when our agreements with them end. Thus, the information collected by these service providers is controlled by Scrapbooks Mega Meet, LLC and will only be used for the purposes described in this policy.

On occasion, Scrapbooks Mega Meet, LLC may also share non-personal, summary information regarding our customers with unrelated third parties (for example, we publicly disclose the aggregate number of registered users of our Web site). However, Scrapbooks Mega Meet, LLC does not share any personal information about any particular customer with unrelated third parties, with the exception of duly registered event exhibitors who have requested mailing information.

Security

At Scrapbooks Mega Meet, LLC, part of our job is to make sure your registration experience is safe and secure. That means your credit card is safe, your personal information is safe, and your password is safe. We use the latest encryption technologies, rigorous password protections, and stringent limits on the number of people who have access to your information, all to guard against unauthorized access to the data.  We do not retain your credit card information on our servers once your transaction has been processed.
