Here’s your chance to win the
Great Lakes Mega Meet’s
PARADE OF
NATIONS CONTEST
It wouldn’t
be the Olympics without the Parade of Nations with all the athletes –
YOU!
So join the fun and participate in this new contest!
Create a team of 4 people (all
must have tickets to the Opening Ceremonies and be in attendance) and
create your own ‘Scrapping Nation’ – you’ll need a name for your country
(like Megatropolis – but not that, cause it’s ours!) a slogan, logo, or
motto (the ultimate cropping, shopping, and learning place) and then you
create your flag!
We will hold our Parade of Nations
during the Opening Ceremonies, just like the Olympics. All of your
nation’s athletes should be there and parade with your team flag.
Here’s the nitty gritty on the
contest:
- Nations should consist of 4 members…no more, no
less. If you don’t have enough people in your ‘country’, please join
the message board and put a feeler out there in the CONTESTS section.
You can also use the message board to communicate with your team
members, either in threads or private messages (if you want to be
secretive!)
- All nations should register via emali no later
than FRIDAY, MAY 2ND. To register, simply submit the names
of the four people in your country to
cara@megameet.com with Parade of Nations Registration as the subject
line. We need to know how many countries we’re dealing with when it
comes time for this parade!
- The only requirement to the contest is to create a
flag for your nation (meaning you don’t all need to dress up in
exclusive Olympics gear to wear while you parade around – but you’re
welcome to!). It would be best to incorporate the name of your nation
and any logo, slogan or motto you come up with in your design.
- Flags need to be able to be carried during the
parade so that others can see it and should be no larger than 24” x 36”.
